Verbier is legendary for its outstanding skiing and cosmopolitan flair. In fact, this year's Great Skiing and Snowboarding Guide named Verbier "2009's Best European Ski Resort". This is certainly in recognition to the many improvements that have been made in terms of the facilities, but more so, it represents the develpoment of a new breed of winter resort: a modern, well-organized sports complex that emphasizes serious skiing and nightlife rather than a traditional Swiss atmosphere.
The resort is enormous, claiming to have the largest aerial cableway in Europe with two gondolas that hold 300 skiers and a massive network of 100 lifts, which provides access to over 250 miles of official trails. You can literally follow the sun all day over it's 4 valleys and still not see it all. And with 12 bars and discotheques in the village, Verbier boasts some of the best après-ski and nightlife in the Swiss Alps. So be prepared to stay out until closing time - which is often when the sun is about to rise!

MID-WINTER DEALS
A hotel-apartment for six in the center of the village. Includes a fully equipped kitchen, buffet breakfasts, and full staff service for the week.
In addition to your round-trip ground transportation, you will also receive a multi-day lift pass for the entire 4-Valley area as well as a personal mountain host for each day you're on the slopes.
Mid-winter packages start at just $1,400 per person (all inclusive). Prices are based on a group of six adults.
